Reliable & Honest
A graduate of Paso Robles High School, Ren went on to attend Cuesta College taking mostly construction management and business coursework and entering the field of construction at 20 years old.
At 26, Ren purchased a plot of land, designed, and then built his own 2000 square foot home by hand. A true craftsman, Ren performed every trade and became a licensed general contractor during the build, which took 2 years of nights and weekends to complete.
At the age of 30, Ren became a professional construction estimator, a role which required him to accurately forecast the time and cost of major construction projects.
Seeking a return to a more creative occupation, Ren joined the Daniels Wood Land team in 2008 becoming the “Rengineer” behind the mechanical elements of themed environments and tree houses. Ren has completed projects for several high profile entertainment and amusement clients including Merlin Entertainments, The Walt Disney Company, Electronic Arts, and Universal, to name a few.
In 2014, the first season of the reality TV show Redwood Kings, a show capturing the projects created by Daniels Wood Land, aired, with Ren as featured talent.
